"Our experience of Choice Catering was exceptional. We booked Debs and her team to cater afternoon tea for 17 of us, (Sept '25) whilst staying in Cumbria, some with particular dietary requirements and none of it was a problem. All of the food for everyone was beautifully presented and tasted divine! Everyone was made up with the quality of the food and found it to be high spec. Portion sizes were abundant and we were all able to finish off or take some home the following day. I would not hesitate to use Choice Catering again or to recommend them to anyone. "Debs worked with myself and my daughter in law to cater 4 different parts of Hannah & Greg’s wedding weekend. . .a fabulous brunch for 25 the morning of the wedding, an exceptional and enormous dessert array for the actual wedding, a open house/brunch the day after the wedding for 80+ people, and finally a huge and glorious chocolate celebration cake for a family birthday Sunday evening. This was a complicated weekend of food to plan and execute and Debs was an absolute dream to work with. . .extremely organized, detail oriented, super responsive and full of excellent advice and guidance. Every single delivery and pick up was on time and perfect. And, the food itself not only looked stunning, but was absolutely delicious. I’ve worked with a number of caterers over the years, but never been as happy as I was with Debs/Choice Catering. If I could award 10 stars on a 5 stars maximum scale I would! Staying in a grand house (in Keswick, Sept '25) we wished an equally grand meal in to celebrate our longevity! It was a truly wonderful night with Debbie and Alison serving up very special fayre including varied canapés at the start and an extensive cheeseboard to finish (as optional extras). The menu was extensive and the beautifully presented food was delicious and generously portioned, served graciously and efficiently. While this culinary delight was a ‘luxury’ for us all, it was tremendous value, especially as we sourced our boozy juice ourselves. The presentation was wonderful and the food was top quality. However, the highlight of our weekend was the delicious 5* quality three course deluxe meal that was prepped, cooked and served for us on the Saturday afternoon. The food was top restaurant quality and the friendly and accommodating service was wonderful. There were 16 people and there wasn’t a single complaint and everyone was full of praise. Debs, and her team have catered for us as a group of 16, several times ( most recent being at Bristowe Hill in March '25 on Friday night), each time has been of a really high standard and literally nothing could be faulted. Debs brings an artistic creative flair to her dishes, which are all delicious, high quality ingredients, piping hot and served with a smile. Timings are always just right and having everything afterwards cleared away, washed up and the kitchen looking like no one has been in there is a bonus. Great value for money too. I very rarely leave reviews so that in itself says something about this lovely lady and her business. We actually booked our group get together this year around when Debs could fit us in and she deserves every credit that is honestly given."
